The Tsingy of Bemaraha is an exceptional natural site located in the Menabe region, in western Madagascar. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this labyrinth of sharp limestone formations, nicknamed 'tsingy' (meaning 'where one cannot walk barefoot' in Malagasy), is divided into two main areas: the Grand Tsingy and the Petit Tsingy.
This spectacular landscape, shaped by millions of years of erosion, offers dizzying hiking trails, suspension bridges, and panoramic viewpoints over a rich and endemic biodiversity. A true adventure playground for geology and nature enthusiasts, the Tsingy of Bemaraha is a testament to the raw power of nature and the importance of preserving these unique treasures.
