Fort-Dauphin

Fort Dauphin, also known as Tolagnaro, is a historic city in southeastern Madagascar. A former European trading post from the 17th century, it has preserved its colonial heritage. The city is nestled at the foot of Pic Saint Louis, offering a spectacular landscape, among the most beautiful in Madagascar. The city's history can be discovered through emblematic sites such as Fort-Flacourt, Fort des Portugais and the Anosy Museum, which trace the colonial period.
